Beat Endless Mode

Endless (community and lobby branding also call the challenge The Descent, and the Roblox experience title has carried an [ENDLESS] tag) is the endurance ladder in BEAR Tower Defense. Unlike a fixed clear of Hard Mode or map-gated Extreme Mode, Endless asks how long your roster can scale before Bobs overwhelm the base — with community videos targeting wave 50+ as a serious milestone.

This guide explains how Endless differs from story difficulties, which towers and habits actually scale, and how to practice without wasting the Quidz farm loop on Haunted Mansion.

What Endless is (and is not)

ModeGoalEnds when
Easy / Medium / HardClear the mapped wave countFinal boss / last wave victory
ExtremeMap-gated harder clearSame as Hard, higher pressure
Endless / The DescentSurvive as long as possibleBase falls or you quit

Endless is not the best Quidz per hour for most accounts — keep farming on Haunted Mansion Easy (Grind Quidz) when you need currency. Queue Endless when you want prestige waves, practice late-game sell timing, or test whether Best Towers truly carry after wave thirty.

Prerequisites before you queue Endless

Do not open Endless as a new-player tutorial. Checklist:

  1. Comfortable Hard clears on at least one map (Beat Hard Mode).
  2. Core unlocks: Cheese Factory, Psychic, Rockstar, plus Anti-Air answers (Electrisam / Hype Beast).
  3. Puzzle habit from Complete Puzzles — Memory, Burger, Wire, Cowboy, Hide when they appear.
  4. Boss sell-and-reposition skill from Beat Boss Waves.
  5. Optional stall tools such as Scrando blockades after Hungry for More if your Endless lobby uses dense paths.

Use the Unlock Priority Planner if any S-tier tower is still locked.

Scaling rules that matter past wave 30

Economy never stops

Cheese income must keep funding upgrades every few waves. One Cheese Factory early is standard; on deep Endless pushes, teams that skip economy drown in under-leveled DPS. Spend puzzle Battery / ~50% Cheese buffs immediately on the towers that cover the next air or boss spike — never sit on the buff while browsing menus.

Anti-air is permanent

Flyer mixes do not “graduate away.” Balloon Bobs and later air variants delete Endless runs that looked fine on ground HP bars. Keep anti-air upgraded even when ground Rockstar stacks feel strong.

Sell junk, rebuild peaks

Wave 1 Buckethead lines that carried Easy become dead Cheese by wave 40. Recycle continuously: sell outdated front units, rebuild in the kill pocket where late Bobs slow or stack. The same muscle memory that beats Chained Bob keeps Endless alive.

Co-op roles beat hero plays

Assign:

RoleFocus past wave 30
EconomyFactory uptime, puzzle spends
BurstMax Psychic / Hype Beast windows
SplashRockstar / chain cleanup
AirDedicated anti-air coverage
StallScrando walls or tank placement if the path allows

Silent lobbies die when everyone places the same DPS and nobody solves puzzles.

Wave milestones to watch

Community Endless clips (including wave 50+ pushes) share a rhythm even when exact enemy tables patch:

  • Waves 1–15 — Establish economy and cheap ground coverage; do not over-invest cosmetics.
  • Waves 16–30 — Lock anti-air and puzzle discipline; sell early junk.
  • Waves 31–50 — Continuous rebuilds, burst items from Best Item Combos, and strict callouts.
  • Wave 50+ — Prestige territory; expect denser packs, less recovery room, and the need for fully upgraded meta towers.

Treat the embedded walkthrough as a visual pacing reference — patch numbers move, habits stay.

Map choice for Endless practice

Start Endless practice on a path you already know from Hard:

  • Lost Temple — Readable lanes for learning rebuild timing.
  • Haunted Mansion — Bridge discipline + air practice.
  • Fat Lands — Dense props and Scrando stall practice after Hungry for More.

If a lobby offers Endless only on certain stages, confirm in the hub UI before planning a two-hour session.

Endless vs Extreme vs Hard — when to pick which

Buying Game Passes does not replace Endless skill — Capsule Luck and early unlocks only shorten the unlock grind before you practice.

Common Endless wipe causes

  • Skipping puzzles after wave 20 “to save time.”
  • Never selling early towers.
  • One player covering air for the whole lobby with a level-two unit.
  • Queuing Endless before owning Cheese Factory + Psychic.
  • Treating Endless like a Quidz farm and tilting when rewards feel slow.

Watch the wave 50+ embed for pacing, then treat this page as the checklist you reopen between attempts. Endless rewards patience and rebuild habit more than any single Game Pass.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What is Endless mode in BEAR Tower Defense?

An endurance mode (also tied to The Descent / ENDLESS branding) where you survive escalating waves as long as possible instead of finishing a fixed map clear.

Is Endless better than Haunted Mansion Easy for Quidz?

Usually no. Haunted Mansion Easy remains the documented Quidz farm. Endless is for survival milestones and late-game practice.

What wave should I aim for in Endless?

Community guides treat wave 50+ as a serious milestone. Reach Hard comfort first, then push Deep Endless with a full meta roster.

Do I need Scrando for Endless?

Helpful for stall on dense paths after Hungry for More, but Cheese Factory, Psychic, Rockstar, and anti-air matter more for most teams.

Should beginners play Endless?

No. Learn Easy and Hard, puzzles, and anti-air first. Endless assumes you already own the core toolkit.
